I have a aerial shoot of a football game at night. I have never done a aerial shoot at night!
I know my shutter speed needs to go down and iso goes up. I will be using a 40d and a 17-55 lens.
Any recommendations would be greatly help!

Sorry, I just can't see your theory. ![]() The OP has stated that he's using a 17-55mm lens and also that he'll be in a helicopter - I think the shoot is of the stadium, not necessarily the game play action. So with that lens, the OP theoretically could get away with a SS of 1/60 - but I've never shot from a helicopter so I don't know if that would add to camera shake.
