Some of these look like snap shots but then again being artistic was probably not the number one priority so I would say it looks like you covered it well. (?)

Ken- i was out there until they came and briefed the media ( which i was apart of) then i left. You have to stay to get the whole story.

Nick- explain the "snapshot" comment if you would. Being a photojournalist puts me with the task to tell a story. Creativeness is not the most important, but being able to do so and show what is napping is always a plus.

I think you explained it yourself. Creativeness is not most important. So the fact that some of these look like snapshots isn't really important either. It was a simple comment I made about the photos.

Did any of these shot make it to a local news outlet? Just wondering because the cops talking to each other or getting ready may not be very appealing for a journal, so it may be better to just wait for some action and get 1 shot...

newspaper picked them up but they did not run. didnt turn out to be as newsworthy apart from other things in town going on..
