Here are 2 versions of an image i took recently.
My opinion is that in the fully saturated image the subject doesn't really pull the eye towards it, so i processed another.
I've been looking at it for 15 minutes and i really can't decide whether i like it or not.
C&C appreciated.

First wins for me, it's because in no2 the foliage is quite busy and there is a lot to look at in the background as well, isolating the background in black and white and then having the colour as a contrast is too much for my eyes to take in. First one just looks more natural.

First one for sure, just looks better. I think the split between bw and color are rarely pulled off in a way I like.

I don't like the selective color. I always thought selective color looked like someone who wasn't "professional" was trying to be "professional." It works in some situations, usually with a bright color, but not this one (especially when you selective color and there are spots in the background and on the ground around your subject).
