Great images man. I'm so happy the aurora season has started. I captured some aurora last night also. Haven't got time to post them today, tomorrow I'll have them online.

Yes it is fun to see them and to capture them on the sensor is a great feeling. And when you get home you get disappointing since it looked so much better on the small screen :) But last night I had a good feeling since the purple really showed with the naked eye.
Here it is still not completely dark as you still can see the remains of the sunset> But it is a great mix.

Those beautiful. Living in Texas, I have the advantage of getting to shoot some of the stuff deep south. But you northerners are treated to the wonderful northern lights dancing in the sky. I envy you.

Thank you. I think the sun is not going away this time of year. Still one or two more weeks left. We don't see the aurora until 1030 here.

Thank you. There is always something nice to watch wherever you live. It is great to see the aurora when it is very active. What was nice here was the purple color. Normally you just see the green (that is what the camera sees, we see it whiter)

Thank you. I was outside tonight also. But the aurora was so weak that I didn't bother to pick up the camera. If this had been 4 years ago I would have been very happy. So instead I went into town to shoot the harbor area.
It have been quiet from your side of the world. I've seen your model shot at Flickr that seems great, so I guess you have been busy inside :)
