hi just got a 50d upgraded my old xti, I notice something odd about the camera i seem to hear somthing like somethin loose it seems to be coming from the built in flash brackets?
is this normal? anyone has the same experience?

I'm still learning all the functions of the camera, coming from an xti everything seems to be diffrent as of todate im just using manual and p functions. every time i used av in low light im getting a yellowish pic even with the flash still having problems where to find the settings. i dont know if its normal the yellowish pic may be its bec of my yellow green walls ill see tom.

thank you in advance

There is actually a sensor inside that looks when the camera is horizontal or vertical. And in that sensor there is a little thingy in there that moves around.

Good luck with the camera!

Is the light source tungsten??

Tungsten lighting will give off a redish/yellowish cast.. If so,, try changing the Auto White balance to 2800 to 3200 deg Kelvin..

BTW,, my 50D rattles a tad also..

Hmm I just rotated my 50D and I didn't hear anything, is it a loud sound? Something could be loose, you really shouldn't hears anything.
Let us know what happen when you take pictures in day light, the yellow maybe the lighting. Of course if it's still yellow outside you may need to return it.
