I did something a little different this year for my cross country shoots. It involved 3 cameras with 3 very distinct shots.
The coarse has a loop as many XC coarses do. So I decided to set up a remote camera positioned to be able to catch the runners as they come out from the loop. This camera was set-up about 50 yards from were I was positioned. I was able to fire the camera to get a nice low angle and be ready to than pan the runners as they passed me.
The first images I shot with a 70/200 as the runners approached the loop.
