To buy a mint 1dmkII?
Its as good as new, what do you guys think? Is it still a good camera?

It's the best bang for the buck sort of camera right now!


I know more about gear than I know about photography :p

I have two of them - fantastic cameras - love the quick auto focus. If you found a mint one for a good price and don't want it - let me know I would consider another one...... seriously.

Well it was Canon's flagship camera for a period and is just as good of a camera now as it was then ;) Still used by many pros to date.

As someone already said, if you aren't after video, it is the best bang for the buck body out there right now. AF on it is arguably still one of Canon's best and most reliable AF systems available outside of the 1D4.

After switching to Canon I went with the 50D. I loved it but tried out a friend's 1D2. So,d the 50D in a few days to get the 1D2. It's the best value for what you're gonna get. By all means, go for it
