A Praying Mantis, and a Spider w/ Prey

These are a couple of the critters I found in my grandfathers field this summer. There were soooo many insects and spiders! Here's a praying mantis and a spider with its wrapped dinner.

I believe the bullseye mark on the mantid is a distinguishing mark of the European mantid species (one of the three main types of mantids found in the northeast US).
