DPP only opens with Desktop folder in Windows 7?

After years with Zoombrowser & DPP on XP, I have a problem with my new Windows 7 machine.

In XP, when I right-click a RAW file in Zoombrowser and select 'Process with DPP', it would open that file in its folder in DPP.

In my new Windows 7 machine, DPP always opens pointing to my Desktop folder, where there are no images.

Any advice would be appreciated.

In 'Tools' - 'Preferences' - at the top of the 'General Setting' Tab you can select the start-up location

Have you tried selecting 'Last displayed folder', select some images and close. Try re-opening - does this change anything?

That works fine, thanks, but as soon as I select another RAW file for processing from ZoomBrowser, it's back to teh Desktop.

Sounds like it's time to re-install. :D

Tried that too - although I'm not 100% confident yet with 'true' uninstall technique for Windows 7. I say this because when I did reinstall, I found that my custom settings were intact.

Thanks,

Steven

Perhaps reinstall windows 7? I kid... half jokingly. (I'm a PC guy so this isn't me trying to take a pot-shot at PC. I've been down that road before over the years.)

It may come top it - it's a new machine, so not too huge a task to reset to 'as new'!

Cheers...

Please note that my problem goes away if I use XP compatability mode.

Thanks....
