Starbucks

This is a three exposure set I did this morning at the Palm Springs Starbucks...handheld. This shows the outdoor patio with a gentleman enjoying a cup and paper with the store in the background.

Storefront shots with lots of neon signs work well tonemapped to the extreme.

Gene, you have definite style to your work, which I find very pleasing! Every post you make it look easy. A couple picky things: it appears to be a smidge crooked based on the vertical components near the edges and I find the blues in the metal chairs and doors a little bit distracting. I would tone them down just a bit. Really nice all in all.

Thanks for the comments. This was a spur of the moment shot and I wish I had brought my tripod. That would have eliminated a couple of issues with this image by being able to use a higher f-stop.

Jon...I have style? I like to think I just mess around with these images...but at least I Edit:try to do it consistantly.

Here's an edit (full frame this time) that's been rotated a bit and did a selective desaturation of the blue tones on the metal.
