I worked on a military base in an office that did DA photos- two handy tools when taking photos of people in suits- Clothespins and double-sided garment tape! Sep 16, 2010 18:22 | #4 Thank you both for the comments. This was my first try at this type of pic. I'll keep the clothespins/tape in mind if I do these again. https://photography-on-the.net …?p=9974201&postcount=2298Gear List

Sep 17, 2010 06:47 | #7 Hmm, the color in 2 looks about right to me and the WB was set with a grey card. I'll recalibrate my monitor today and see if it looks different. https://photography-on-the.net …?p=9974201&postcount=2298Gear List

The people were about 5 feet from the backdrop. I was about 7 feet from them. The main light was a Sigma 500Super shot through an umbrella 45 degrees in front and 45 degrees above them. The umbrella was aimed in front of the person to not get hot spots. The fill light was a Sunpak 383 super shot through an umbrella and it was behind and above me. I kept the ratio pretty tight. I don't remember the exact numbers for the flash power. https://photography-on-the.net …?p=9974201&postcount=2298Gear List
