SInce you took it off centre of the staircase, it appear to be leaning a little to the right. Notice too that the horizontal lines of the steps are slightly sloping. cheers, Paul

The feeling that it is crooked really ruins the simmetry for me. But I like the compostion and exposure quite a bit. You got one of the moods of a subway platform just right. I could see making a series out of that. The second one just misses for me but I do think you handled all the textures beautifully. Maybe cropped off center with most of the left tile gone. There is just enough different on the two sides to make it seem too far off.
