Had the fortunate experience of this little guy perched on the side of the house one night. It was like he knew what I wanted! I would take a few shots then he would recompose himself...didn't bother it in the least that I was within 10 inches snappin photos. My girlfriend says it's a tree frog? Not sure after seeing some of the tree frog photos on here, but anyway he sure was a fun subject. Absoloutly love the detail in their eyes!! Mother nature is a mad scientist ;).

yes a tree frog, looks like a Hyla versicolor possibly

It is hard to ID some of these, with only this much information. If you have heard it calling, they are easier to tell by voice. I shot some Bird-voice TF earlier this year, with the same color pattern. Gray TFs can also match this.
