Sure, you have to change them out every once in a while, but I've never found myself changing cards during a critical point in the wedding. I tend to swap them out prior to different parts of the wedding though. Pre-ceremony on one card... swap. Ceremony and family formals... swap. Bridal party pictures and just married session... swap. And finally the reception. I may not fill my cards all the way, but I'm always on top of them and are confident at any given point that I have plenty of available space. The question is... do you need 130 photos of the bride putting her make up on? Baby Girl 2.0 has arrived!

They all get uploaded to their own folder instead of having to move them after the fact. why do you want them in their own folder? Robert Whetton

I've been through about 6 failed CF cards and have had to deal with corrupted images more times than I care for. Now it's only sandisk extreme (apparently they're physically more robust too). In my 1-series bodies I use 16gb cards... the dual cards are lovely. -Lloyd

I just like everythign organized in their own seperate folders. Also, for me, it makes uploading them online for me later, easier. takes a long time to upload 750 high resolution images all at once... a day or two, especially over here in the United States with our slow arse upload speeds... uploading a few portions at a time makes life easier for me. Even went through the wash one time. It would be great of the 5d3 came with dual CF slots. LA Wedding photographer

I use an 8gb for the ceremony and the reception, usually fours for the rest. I also shoot probably 50/50 raw/jpg, so I'm usually ok for space, just like to keep each part of the day separate in case of loss, theft, or corrupt data. Twitter
