Another shot on Mirror Lake, by the town of Lake Placid in the Adirondacks.
A great day of beautiful clouds on our last day of vacation.
Five bracketed shots. Masked in the kayaker from a single shot.

Fantastic cloud formation, beautiful.

Really nice picture, but I thought perhaps the trees were abit 'pale'.

Hope you don't mind, but I've tweaked the contrast on them. What do you think?

Amazing clouds!

Looks like the clouds out of those prayer plaques.

Yes, outstanding photo and good edit above.

Makes you see the kayaker as small compared to nature. I think this photo is fantastic.

Thank you. bw!

I hope you don't mind my trying an edit to your image but I thought the clouds needed a more dramatic look. Hope you don't think I took it too far.

Hey all.
Don't mind edits at all. Photography is all about artistic choices.
Its really a little mind boggling: all the choices available when you have a 32 bit file to work with.
Thanks for your ideas.
I was about to take a nap when I looked out the hotel room window and saw this.
Forget the nap. Get the cam and tripod.
