Heya everyone;

There is a very cheap Promaster 28-210mm up on Craigslist and I wanted to know how those of you out there who have used it liked it.

This lens retails $220 but I cant find any real info about it anywhere let alone for sale through a dealer that I would trust.

Could anyone that has photos from this lens please post some up?

I wanted to give it a try on my 1DIII just for fun as its so cheap that really I cant hate myself. :D

Here are the specs on it.

Old superzoom? I'd steer clear and get a Sammy 85 for the same price instead :D

Its an old post but I forgot to update.

I stayed away from it, didnt find it worth while what so ever.

One cheap lens that DID surprise me was the Siggy 28-300mm
My copy is fairly sharp at the length I needed it for 200+ when stopped down.

I got it for $40 and it sells for $300 new and I watched one sell for $230 on ebay so it cant be that bad. :D

AF is of course NOT on par with any of my L's in ANY light but for $40 I cant complain. :)
