Just a quick edit of a Jaguar 175 XKR I shot earlier in the week. Had very little light to work with so the ISO was bumped up so excuse the noise a bit... still need to do some cleanup before I'm happy but the car is too beautiful not to share.

That's a very nice shot!

Had very little light to work with

You had the best light there is. Low contrast late light, few clouds, + some warm sunlight on the horizon. It doesn't get much better than that.

so the ISO was bumped up

TRIPOD!!!
OTOH, I'm not thrilled by the pole reflected in the side, & a better background would be nice. See the links in my Sig and...

When you live in Houston, you don't really have a lot of choice in backgrounds. It's pretty much all parking structures and high-rises or shopping centers. Gotta make do with what's around.

It has 4 wheels & a motor. Drive it somewhere else? ;)
Or maybe you could have moved it a bit to the right & eliminated the poles?

To the right were more poles :) Honestly, finding good photo spots in Houston is a bear. We had an hour to shoot this car and had to be done on this particular day. In an ideal world we would have driven out of town but just didn't have that luxury. Oh good ole unscenic Houston.

Jaguar PR loves the shot (Press car) and at the end of the day I guess that's all that matters ;)

I'm glad they liked it. They can always PS the poles out if they want to, right?

I like it; pipes an' all, converts to a lovely mono shot.

Yes it was! I sold that in 2002, but I've got a red 2010 S4 now :) I was on SNI many moons ago.

With a little reflection cloning it would be perfect, but it still doesn't look bad as-is. Nice shot!
