Wow I got really lucky this weekend.

I picked up a MINT 40D (gripped and less than 5k clicks) package with a mint Siggy 10-20mm and mint Canon 50mm 1.4 all for $900! He was asking $1300 but needed the money.

Now while I probably wont keep the 40D (I use to have one) or 10-20mm for long the 50mm 1.4 has been on my watch list for a long time now. I bought a 50mm 1.8 MKI a couple weekends ago while I waited for a 1.4.

So while the other stuff might find its way up for sale I can say that I am VERY happy with the 50mm 1.4. :)

Heck I even slapped the Siggy 10-20mm on my 1DIII and actually liked the results. The vignetting adds a nice touch to my style of photography so I might fall in love with this one too. :x

I never posted pics from the 50mm 1.8 Mark 1 because I ended up working too much to get out and take some fun pics but I have all day tomorrow so I will get pics from all three lenses and share them here. :)

Thanks. :)

I really dont buy anything anymore unless I can get a good deal on it so my new equipment tends to be few and far apart.

I have to say though that I havnt been this happy with a purchase since my 1DIII with full tripple AB800 portable studio. I dont think I will ever beat that deal though but this one is still pretty good.

It's a deal, it's a steal, it's the sale of the f***ing century.
