I am cray-balls right now. I cant figure out what to do. I shoot a little of everything; cars, people and skateboarding mostly. Here is my predicament. I sold all of my gear with the intention of going FF, but now I am just retarded from reading and researching.
1. 5d mark 2 and 24-70L
2. 5d mark 2 and 35L
3. 7D and 24L
4. 7D and 24-70L

Do you enjoy the versatility of zooms? Do you want an FF or 1.6 camera?

If you can answer those two, you got yourself an answer.

Since you list skateboarding, I would say the 7D and 24-70 to get started with. I suspect you'll learn from there rapidly as to what your real needs are.

I would agree that the 7D might be a better fit, given your subject list. It has better auto-focus, more than twice the FPS and smaller sensor gives you a bit more reach.

For lenses, you might consider one of the 70-200 lenses and a 17-55 IS or a 24-70.

I would buy the 5d mark 2 and 35L if you like prime lens. Good luck to find a good 24-70mm.

7D and 24L seems like a good option when also shooting skateboarding. I liked my 24L on crop, the FL really worked for me.

I can't get over how amazing everything looks on FF. Crop bodies don't seem to do the same thing. I have used a crop body for the past few years and I cant make my mind up. There are pros and cons to both, but I cant afford the best of both worlds.
