I've ordered stuff from them before with no issues. I'm sure this is as cheaply made as they come, but for under two bucks? Worth the chance just to throw it in the camera bag....

Well if it comes with a USB cable that has to be worth the cost of going out to buy one at least.

I get an email from their site every day with the 'daily steal'. It's insane how cheap stuff goes for. Quality? Not so much, but cheap!!!

Most of the stuff is total junk, but there are deals to be had. I got 2 headlights for 3 bucks, a USB hub for 2 bucks, etc. Knick knacks mostly, but a deal is a deal.

Cost $.10 in labor $.10 in parts .05 for shipping from China and about $.55 or less in the US to mail in bulk. So your question is about equal to how can stores sell a pack of gum for under a buck and make a profit. Considering that retail stores have far larger distribution chains then liquidators the answer is simple it's done with VOLUME. Anyone can go to http://www.alibaba.com (external link) and cut out the middle men in the chain by getting products from China in bulk factory direct. In fact this is what many cheaper brands similar to Rosewill do they buy these products by the thousands and have them stamped with a logo as if they were made to spec as they would be for higher priced products.

It was the 'daily steal'. There do appear to be similar deals on ebay though...

I can buy a card reader from this store for less than $1...

they have a physical store where I live though.. they are the best source of cheap functional electronic products and most comes with around 3months - 1 year warranty coverage.

if you want to check out their prices.. conversion is $1 =P45 more or less
