Where Eagles Fly - Burlington Iowa / Fly Iowa

Attended Fly Iowa for the first time and its a really good little show. Lots of unique warbirds and really great people. Here are a selection of F-15 Strike Eagles and though not my best work, the skies were really juiced !!!

WOW those are spectacular. I love them! I wish we got some humidity here in AZ to get some shots like that.

Excellent! These remind me of the Abottsford airshow a few years back with similar vapour trails.

WOW ! they are great. What lens did you use? with the humidity we have in South Florida we should get that and more of the vapour trails.

You certainly get more vapor in FL than we do in AZ but you get this kind of hard vapor in cooler air than in warmer because cool air can't hold as much moisture as warm can.
