I looked at the Vivitar version of this lens last week. It really is an interesting lens. I was surprised at the build quality and it is optically pretty decent (test shots in store). I've been thinking about the Sigma 2.8 Fish, but this one would save some coin...

Thanks! I am impressed thus far with the picture quality myself. I had a Vivitar previously with my 300D, but it was about as sharp as the side of a spork. :lol:

I am satisfied with this purchase for the money for sure. The quality of the lens itself is great as well...it feels like a much more expensive piece of glass. :cool:
