Is there an upgrade for DPP downloadable from Canon?

Depends on which version you're using now. There's a PDF for the 3.9 manual on the net but the program is not available for download . . yet. Anything prior to 3.9 is available for download at Canon's site.

I don't know if they still add updates to the 30D page because it is older, but if you go to a new camera support page for like the 7D or 550D you can download the newest version they have there.

That's true. To get the newest DPP you will have to check under the 60D and keep checking until they release the new version.

Yeah, if you go to the download page for, say, the 7D (for your OS) you should be able to get both the software updates and the users guide. Make sure you get the users guide because Help is not very helpful!

I'm not sure of how the 30D works with Utilities, though, esecially since Utilities has so much stuff for newer cameras (Live View and such). If your current version of Utilities works fine with your camera you may do best to keep it instead of upgrading it unless/until you upgrade your camera. And, I know the 5D Classic has some issues with Utilities in newer systems, but I'm not sure about the 30D.
