I have been reading these forums for a while now and find them to be very informative. I just purchased my first DSLR, a Rebel XS. I have told myself that if I get more serious about taking photographs that I'll upgrade in a years time. I used to go around cemeteries in the San Francisco area taking black and white photos with an old AE-1 over ten years ago so I remember some aspects of picture taking. I'm mostly interested in taking photos of landscapes, abandoned spooky places and anything kind of macabre. Anyway......hello!
