FF vs CROP is not a big deal. It is only if you are shooting landscape and need a wider frame of view. The blur form my 1Ds II vs my wifes 40D at 200mm F2.8 is so close one cannot tell. Overated I think you really worry about it go and by a P65 and get a real sensor.:p

Well it should be like that at 200mm f/2.8. Try 35mm f/2 and get back to us!

That's one lens. The difference becomes more pronounced with shorter lenses.

Plus DOF control isn't the only advantage of FF over crop.

lol, that's the same excuse I used when picking the 16-35 over the 14-24.

Yeah FF has better noise. At least a little. Again if it all comes down to sensor size we are all SCREWED when the RED MONSTRO hits and has a sensor basically 4-6 times that of a LG MF back. It isn't the camera I wouldn't worry about it for the most part. A 200 F1.8 is gonna look nicer on a 7D than a 18-200 F5.6 on a 5D II. Yes I may buy the new 1Ds IV when it comes out or I may spend about $2K more and get a 645D instead.....

Amazon's page changed from pre-order to oos. Think shipping will start sooner than March 18th??

I don't know, they may have legal restrictions on when they can ship it. I went ahead and put mine on pre-order. I really, really want one. Originally, I was going to order a Canon EOS Mark IV, but I'm glad I waited. I think this will be better value for the money. I'm fidgeting-can't wait to get my hands on one.

There will be an interchangeable version I'm sure...

Fugi says no.

rjx is right. If you read what fuji has said about it, it is not as simple as just making a version with interchangeable lenses. The way the camera is designed in terms of the sensor and the lens they would have to redesign the whole camera. 35mm is my favorite focal length...have mine preordered through amazon.
