Here is a sequence of Jordy that seemed ridiculously impossible.

I tried a slightly different PP on this so please let me know what you think. These are also majorly cropped as I don't have a 400mm lens like everyone else on the beach.

in keeping with forum rules that's it for now... but not only did he make it he finished off the wave with a solid superman air which I also got shots of.

Been waiting for some of these to show up on here.
Really nice shots! ... kinda hard to take a bad shot of perfect surf with the best surfers in the world on them, huh?
Owen killed it ... and Kelly put on a good show on his way to a 10th world title.

MORE PLEASE!

Wow, talk about glassy surf. Nice sequence, well caught. I bet the complete set is a cracker.

The real problem is which shot to use! Love what's going on in the first 3.

Thanks...
I don't think my smugmug page has ever had this much traffic
The superman was huge and clean, but unfortunately I did not get the shot with his legs fully extended. I still have about 400 more shots to go through but with the massive amount of photogs there, I'm surprised there aren't any more shots on here.

With all of those photogs there and all of the pros killin' it ... you'd think someone would think outside of the box and get some different footage of significance besides just riding behind the surfer on a jet ski.

Sooner or later, somebody is going to break out with something better than a pole cam.

Your 7D rapid fire approach to this series worked well!
