I went to a friends wedding this weekend (as a guest) and could wait for the opportunity to give my new 70-200 f/2.8 Mk II a workout. These are just raw converted to Jpeg through LR, no PS. This lens is amazing in low light. I'm glad I upgraded from the Mk I. Trying to stay out of the way of 2 other shooters, but cc is welcome.

Way sharper wide open, quicker autofocus, and 4 stop IS.

Yeah, Canon's proud of it, but I got a great deal on a used one. ;)

Nice Apollo. How are you finding the 200mm end @ f/2.8. I know that was one of primary complaints of the version I…

I'm quite pleased at 200 wide open. It's noticably sharper that the mark I wide open throughgout the range. I sold my Mk I pretty quick, so I didn't do alot of comparison shots.

Prices going down on the mark 2, not as "bad" as everyone thinks. As the newness wears off, there will be better and better deals. I upgraded form my Mk 1 for $500 net.
