Number 1 is leaning to the right. I like how #3 shows the car really standing out. The rest of the shots have it blending in and make the yellow paint job seem dull.

And I'm very jealous of your S2000. I just have a little 4banger truck. But I have a 3cyl motorcycle that I have my fun on.

Yeah. Watch the horizons. If you can't level it during the shoot, then would be good to level the photos during post-processing.

Also, what camera did you use? (shoot in RAW?)

The white balance is off. Unless your swapped to yellow HID bulbs and the fluorescent lamps are yellow-ish.

Thanks for the comments, Im shooting with a t1i with the 15-55mm kit lens for these. I did edit the photos in PS. and added some saturation which to some degree made the lights seem yellow. Would it be stronger if I kept the background the same and selected the car in ps and adjusted just that?

Here is the original of #1 for example.

Every bit of critique helps. Thanks a lot.

Well, if you're shooting in RAW, then it's a lot easier to correct. You can just adjust the white-balance sliders until the lights appear to be the right color (and the car).

After that, if you still want to add saturation, it shouldn't affect the color of the light. Else, you can open up a layer mask, select the car and then make more localized adjustments there if you really want to augment the yellow.

If you shot these in jpg, although still doable, it'd be more difficult to fine-tune properly.

You have some interesting shots, but I'd like to have seen at least one that made it look as good as is possible. See the links in my Sig and...

Love the s2000. Looking to buy one [Black, dark silver, or white]. Car looks great though, nice shots. You live in CO? Take some shots outdoors!

Isnt the quality not as good when you shoot in raw?

Ya I take lots of pics outdoors but none that I like enough to post.

Something about these I liked. Idk, trying to learn.

Quality is better. Much larger image files though. It retains far more detail than the compressed JPG's that you are likely shooting. With RAW, if you don't get the exposure correct, you have a much better chance of saving it by pulling detail out of the shadows and highlights.

#1 as stated, picture is leaning.
#2 cant really make out any of the car
#3 feels like the left side needs to be cropped in
#4 the top and left of the shot need to go, it adds nothing of interest to the car/bg
#5 is okay, I don't like th headlights being on in all of the pics. (personal pref)
#6 is a neat idea looking through headrest.

I think a little more post you definitely have some usable pics. I would watch your ISO though, I see noise in a lot of the pics. Did you use a tripod? What was your iso?

A RAW file contains all the data the camera records, whereas the jpg file is converted from that. Taking the time to shoot in raw and then converting it yourself allows you to fine tune the white balance, contrast. vibrancy, saturation and exposure to a greater degree.

Thanks a lot for all the comments. I will try shooting in raw next time. That makes post editing easier? and better?

My ISO was about 1250 for most. What would you suggest? I had it on auto as im still learning the effects.

I didnt use a tripod. From now on im gonna keep one with me at all times.

It makes editing more precise, not necessarily easier as you have an extra step in converting from RAW to jpg. Your ISO was too high for car shoots, but not sure of the light you were working with. Doing cars indoors pretty much requires flashes, and lots of them to do it well.

Ok so here is the first picture edited a little better and its not leaning anymore.

The picture was still taken in JPEG so it wont be the best quality but what do you think?
