Great pictures.
A few question for my own personal curiosity and for future rolling shots,
How did you get so much "movement" in the pics with only a 1/90 and 1/100 shutter speed? I always suspected that you needed atleast a 1/60 to capture real movement and things like wheel blur.
How fast were you going?
Was your upper body completely out of the window?

First off this is only my 2nd attempt at rolling shots so idk exactly what i'm doing.
I actually was running a 1/200 shutter speed most of the time. except on number 4(i believe that was 1/90). I was more concerned about getting the car sharp on some rough roads to make sure i could at least use some shots and not have them all be un-useable. i figured i could add some post processing blurr if necessary. which i actually never did.

on the 1/200 shots, we where on a public road with traffic, so we couldn't go slow, thats why i upped the shutter speed. we where driving about 35-40. which was the speed limit. on #4, with the slower shutter speed we where only going 5-10 mph in a dead business district area on a sunday afternoon. so nobody was there.

Honestly i would've liked to have some more motion blur and wheel spin blurr. but oh well. next time i'll try it again. and yes i was hanging out the window quite a bit most of the time haha. it was mostly just my arms, shoulders and head.

I like the first car more and wasn't too sure on the wheel color choice. It works well though

nah you can get wheel blur at 1/100, the faster they're going the easier it is...80mph should be fine/safe enough for the desired effect

I agree. they where grey before. then one night he showed up with them purple i was in shock and couldn't believe. but the color has alot of depth to it and doesn't look cheap. in bright light its actually more of a pink. very metalically. the more you see it the more you love it.

Hmmm isn't that a bit to fast to drive for rolling shots? i mean, whats the prefered speed for doing them?

Thankyou! I was thinking fast and furious, johny tran and his boys chasing down the cars lol! jk, there just happened to be some bikes following so i thought i would include them in the shot. i just wish it had came out sharper :\

Yup i believe so. its road 47? there are 2 different bridges, one 2 lane each one, and one that has 3 lanes. Thanks :)
