You have a real knowledge of the processing and resizing of the work. Do you have any links you can share so a dumbass like me can understand? Cropped from 18mp to about 6-7mp then processed and resized. How do you know what size it was cropped too? Resized for what? Paul

Apr 06, 2013 08:40 | #3186 I have changed my C70-200II for 120-300OS. I made a little test. 2 cars driving to me. First 20 shots was bed for me. = 50% accuracy;/ Second try was much better, only 2 from 16 missed the target.

Do you have any links you can share so a dumbass like me can understand? Example: How do you know what size it was cropped too? Resized for what? Like I said...you don't need to take your time answering me, but if you have any links, I'd love to have them. Thanks Paul Well, this is just a rough estimate but after cropping the original for composition I ended up with an image size of about 2700-2900 pixels in the longer dimension which in a 3:2 aspect ration calculates to about 6-7 mp (I haven't done any true calculations). AcademicNomad Goldmember More info | Apr 07, 2013 13:59 | #3192 Can anyone advise what uv filter (or any other) they are using on this lens without any effects on IQ. My concern is only front element protection. I bought a Sigma 105mm UV DG filter and for the price, its build seemed like a cheap ebay filter. Hard to describe but you know how the cheap filters seem hollow and the glass isn't really snug fit within the rim of the filter. Not what a CDN $200+ filter should feel like at all!!!! Desire to learn; a camera & a few other things.

I'd use an "air filter" and the lens hood. Alan Myers
