I've been using the Sigma 105mm filter. It seems to match up well with the lens. Sony A9, Pentax K1 MKii, Panasonic G9, Sony 200-600, Samyang 12mm F2 NCS CS, 7Artisans 7.5mm f2.8 fisheye, Panagor 90mm f2.8 Macro (OM), , Sigma APO 2x DG EX TC, Tiffen aXent ND 3.0 (ND1000) filter, Olympus OMD E-M5(drown in the Atlantic), Oly 14-42mm, Oly 12-50mm, ZEQ25gt Mount, plus a few other lenses, extension tubes, and general mish-mash

i shot a local Marathon with it - wish i had a monopod for that, my shoulder was feeling it after constant 2.5 hours of shooting.. (will dig some out and post too) Robert Whetton

From own and of quite many other fellow 120-300 owners experience (except the current version of the lens) i have to suggest to absolutely thoroughly test-drive any copy of this lens before purchase. Chances are though that if the lens has been refurbished by Sigma JAPAN and it has not been abused since, probably would be working ok.
