Keen to see how it runs with my Canon 1.4x III, anybody who has used the Canon III and also the Sigma notice much of a difference?

Seems to track quite well, decent focus, and doesn't seem to require any MA at first glance. Will test more later. 1Dx | 5D III | 1D IV | 8-15 | 16-35L II | 24-70L II | 70-200L II | 400L II | 1.4x III | Σ85 | 100L | 3 x 600EX-RT | ST-E3-RT

I did notice it cut down the amount of AF points available, I had to enable all 61 points instead of just the cross type. It removed the points to the left and to the right - does this happen with the Sigma tc? http://learn.usa.canon.com …n_crosstype_article.htmlp Robert Whetton

(backwards engineering at fault?) So this wouldn't occur with the Sigma teleconverters then? 1Dx | 5D III | 1D IV | 8-15 | 16-35L II | 24-70L II | 70-200L II | 400L II | 1.4x III | Σ85 | 100L | 3 x 600EX-RT | ST-E3-RT

With Canon Extender or Sigma TC attatched you lose AF-Points. Oh wow, that's the post I was looking for!!
