Some tech at the Canon Service Center just emailed this link to all his buddies with the subject line as "Check this one out"

Heh! That's funny:)!

If I wanted to waste my time and take a photo of the letter I would. But at this point it time, I dont want to, ha ha. Maybe later I'll scan it.

Well, it's too bad Canon didn't send you a photo of the wormy stuff in the viewfinder!

Before I sent it out, there were some wormy looking things when I looked through the view finder but I thought it might have been hair or lint. Tried to clean it but made it worse, which is the reason I sent it to get fixed.

How exactly do they identify "worm remains" that are small enough to fit in a VF? Sounds like when a shady mechanic tells a customer they need to replace their muffler bearing.

LMFAO lolololol....

My mom always told me "its better to get worms in your camera and not in your ass". True story.

I think theyre just making something up so you dont feel you sent it in for no reason. In other words, there was nothing wrong with it..

This is just plain amazing. Please scan it. I want to see this. Don't blame me if I print it out and hang it on my wall :)

Maybe it was a typo for worn?

Taking photos with a fancy camera does not make me a photographer.

"worn remains" inside the camera? That makes even less sense. I can see worms sliding on into a camera body if the cap is left off...
