8 AA's + 4 AAA'a + charger=$25.99. Also, it's the new ones (1900mAh at 3 years capacity and 1500 recharges), just like the ones Apple is marketing (rebranded) while selling 6+charger at $29.

Forgot to mention: Charger will work abroad as it's rated at 100-240V and 50-60 Hz (just need special plug attachments which you can pick up for a buck in any country you can end up)

The store in Fairfax, VA didn't have those, but the one in Chantilly, VA had lots of them, so I am guessing they just started springing here and there.
Also fyi - Chantilly store had lots of Sandisk variety (CF's too! mentioned in another thread).

Had to check Costco.ca and they have 16-AAs, 2000mAh, 1000 charges for $49.99

Perfect, I don't need AAAs or another charger, I'll use my Duracell charger.

Lindsey, FYI if you use a slow charger; like ones that takes about 8 hours to charge.... your batteries will last longer.

I use the La Cross charger. Don't know if it makes your batteries last longer, but I've never had a problem since I started using it.

Those batteries are really good so battery life is pretty good regardless of how you charge them; but I keep reading that slow charges keeps the battery cooler. Cooler is better for the batteries; just thought I'd shared that.

Good to know, thanks.
I have an older slow charger, but it's painful. I usually fast charge because I want fresh charged batteries, less of an issue with the Enelopes I guess.

1000 cycles would last close to 10 yrs based on 2 charges per week - that's a long time ;-)a
