Stealthy and very cool!

The XTS is a smaller, lighter SLA unit that the XT/SE and the XTLi is the new Lithium battery.

Base on the images, I'd say the lid has enough depth to it to cover the part that's protruding.

That's very cool. I want to see the specs.

Ha - sure hope the lid would close when not in use...
My question was more about when it was powering something - does the lid have to be open?

Don't they all have to be open?

How can the inverter breathe if you closed it while it's running?

Yes they all have to be open in one way or another. I think some people are seeing it as an inconvenience and the only thing I can see as a negative is that unlike an Explorer or Vagabond, you can't just lift it up, put it over your shoulder and move 20 feet over to a new location.

So in a way I can see that having the cover open or not being able to close when powering strobes would make that process a little more difficult but I'll reserve judgement until I have one in my hands and can test and assess that convenience factor.

Thank you Mario.

Very interesting. I thought the entire unit in its case would be smaller than that.

The hard shell case looks good but doesn't look as convenient as the XT or XT SE for moving it while it's on and strobes are being powered. It's too bad the ports can't be on the outside with covers.

Thanks for the doing the video.

What do you mean?
You miss the Bag to move it on your Shoulder?

Well, you can buy a Bagpack - so it´s easy to move it.

No, what I'm saying is that in order to use it and power strobes, the case must be open. With the old bag you could just leave everything plugged in and pick it up or put it over your shoulder. This new case makes it much less convenient to pick up and move, pick up and move, pick up and move, etc.

oh - i understand.

Yes - the lid must be open. When you closed the lid, the Tronix XTs are still stop to work.

Maybe you should use the old one...
