Ya, I know what you mean. I was lucky and my camera gear was covered under our travel insurance. When I get my new gear early next year, I plan on getting separate insurance for it. That way I know it is covered and it will give some peace of mind. I think I remeber you mentioning that you were going to insure your gear a while ago. How's that coming along?

Good to hear. Hehe.....I wouldn't worry about anything, now that you'll have it covered.

I am eating dinner right now :D hehe

Geoff I'm still worried as I don't know anybody who has ever had transaction with this company. So I don't know how well they handle claims

Wow!!! You're still up? Why are you up all night? I've got no choice though, they are the only insurance co. In the whole country that offers coverage for camera gears

Yes stealthy, the total amount is just a few hundred dollars shy of my yearly income... It is indeed very cheap here...I could get by with only spending around $5 to $10 per day... My car is under the company, my other expenses are all covered. So I don't have to worry about anything... And there are times where We share some profits... That's about it hehe

You do notice I rarely have shots of resorts or beautiful hotels coz I really can't afford to stay in those kinds of places.

Hehe...Yup. I go back to work tonight for a set of five shifts, 7pm to 3am. For this shift, I usually stay up until 8-9am and then get up about 3-4pm to get ready. If I have something I need to do durring the day, I just adjust it accordingly. I find this works best for me, as I'm fully awake for my entire shift, as I haven't already been up for the better part of the day.

ahh ask Julian, I know a bit about filters too... but you should ask the Master. :D

I do have a GND and an ND1.2... if you love to take landscapes then filters are a must...

this is one of the most beautiful island I have seen so far

Nice Steven! Ill have to ask julian what a good cheap GND started set up could be. I love landscape but only shoot them mostly when im on vacation.
