From my experience its not sharp at 1.2 anyway. So a 1.4 sigma is more than enough.

i was leaning towards the sigma 50 as well and a canon 50L deal came my way

that i couldn't pass up, having never tried the sigma, i still have no regrets or doubts

about my decision, i love the bokeh from the 50L :D

Nice and gloomy. Found out I should have ran the laundry last night instead of being on here.

Are you out of clothes to wear? I hope you are not strolling around in your birthday suit... >_<

:p

You are not alone in that regards. If i have a predominantly red shot, aka flower, i always PP the tones down a bit. Not sure what causes canon to shift so much over.

I would mike but its My GF birthday on thursday. The weekend dominates her activities with friday being her friends and then saturday with my friends. Next week ill be good to go though.

Thanks for the input, Omar. Nice photos, by the way! I especially like the one with the bicycle marking on the ground and the shadows. :)

If i remember right most shows use Nikons....

Although if i remember right, NCIS got a 7D at one point

I believe House utilized a 5DII at one point, and one opening sequence of SNL.

My friend saw The Social Network and claims a DSLR + tilt-shift was used for one scene. Apparently the rolling shutter gave it away. Can anyone else vouch for that? Omar? :)

OH MAN!!! Streets of Rage was Awesome! Three version of the game were released from my memory. Streets of Rage 3 added a fighting kangaroo as an unlock-able character. It sounds ludicrous but it was awesome at the time

Thanks man! That ground shot was pure luck. I was going to only shoot it by itslef. Then a group of guys passed by and i kept snapping away. Love the way it came out.

Tilt shift was def used in the Social Network. Its the scene in which a crew race is occurring. I pointed it out immediately to my GF. Asking her if she knew what the effect was. She had an idea because i have shown it to her before.

House season finally from last season was shot entirely with the canon 5d mark II. The network said it would not do future episodes with the 5D due to the production costs associated with the post processing.

No denying though. It has the best bokeh in the 50mm group!
