Eek! 21 days is a long time to be without a camera (if you send in your only camera for service). Did they close the Calgary hub to reduce operating cost?

i sent a 24-105 lens in that took 4 weeks because parts came from japan!

have you tried Nikon Service Laz?

I know for a fact that Canon's service here in our country is a lot better than Nikon...

I haven't had the pleasure yet, I have a local authorized repair center, and I had a lens repaired. I sat for 2 hours and left with it. ;)

hehe.. you guys are lucky there coz you have Nikon USA, we here only have a Nikon distributor... while Canon really have Canon Philippines.

its one factor that made me chose Canon first... coz I live 10minutes away from a Canon service center.

All calico cats are female.

Not true. Statistically, one in 11,000 are physically male, i.e., they have male genitalia. Genetically, they are hermaphrodites.

A fish doesn't understand the operating mechanics outside of water.

Probably not. In fact, it probably doesn't understand the operating mechanics within water, either.

It was sarcasm. It was a line from the TV show Always Sunny In Philadelphia.
