Probably not. In fact, it probably doesn't understand the operating mechanics within water, either.

wow!! that was fast... whats wrong with the lens?

I was on another island, doing beach shots. Sand got in the manual focus ring (not in the elements or anything, just on the outside under the ring). Just would grind when I would manually focus. It cost 65 USD.

women are always right.

Yes, even when they are wrong. ;)

are you admitting that Canon's L are inferior to Nikon's in terms of lens quality?

and they are just putting red rings on their L to make them look better? hehe

You're putting words into my mouth now! I said, "I'm not saying anything about the glass". :p

Overall, Canon glass has the edge. But We can't just say Canon is better than Nikon. It depends on which lens. If we compare specific lenses of similar FL's and build, then we can measure which one is better. I must admit that the newer Nikkor primes are very tentalizing. I don't know where Canon's head is stuck, but they need to respond.

Very good. We do use 100% of our brains, just not all at once.

Thanks, Roger. :)

i'm gonna go use my entire brain to eat a cupcake. brb.

Don't hurt yourself now!

i sent a 24-105 lens in that took 4 weeks because parts came from japan!

Yikes!

neeko wrote in post #11034365 (external link)
Picking it up tomorrow. With no lens....

That better be cupcake pie!

First you had Canon lenses and no body. Now you will have a Nikon body and no lenses. And the world revolves (thanks to pie!).

5 mini cupcakes = 1 normal cupcake, right?

Make that ten. :D

It was sarcasm. It was a line from the TV show Always Sunny In Philadelphia.

Maybe so, but ya gotta love a hermaphoditty kitty.

He isn't bad, he kind of just likes to sell books though. I thought it was funny when he was pushing 10 dimensional string theory for awhile, while M-theory was more accepted. Even though both theories are wishful thinking for grand unification theory.

hahaha I am not... yeah Canon needs to respond for sure... if not, Nikon would make lenses in EF mount versions too so Canon users who are drooling over those new lenses could buy them :D

Temporal phasing is a joke, and the way that string theory works with non-spatial time is stupid.

I'd rather go Canon lenses + Nikon body.

The big ones in the brown/pink boxes are from Sprinkles Cupcakes (external link) (they were the world's first cupcake bakery). Each cupcake costs $3.25 (or $36/dozen), so yeah, they're expensive!
