[QUOTE=krepta;11034498]I'd rather go Canon lenses + Nikon body.

Nikon lenses have caught up. It's just really a price point now.

funny enough Laz when i was thinking of switching,

service was the main drawback of me going noink ;)

yeah.. me too.. but Nikon is just so good to pass up, I just have to eat up the cost if ever I need something to be fixed.

btw, I saved around $600 on my D700 by buying gray market, I hope I don't spend more if ever I need something fixed.

The big ones in the brown/pink boxes are from Sprinkles Cupcakes (external link) (they were the world's first cupcake bakery). Each cupcake costs $3.25 (or $36/dozen), so yeah, they're expensive!

yeah they are... wow!!! $36/dozen? I could buy a decent enough cake for like $10-$15 hehe

Agree... Nikon lenses are a bit more expensive because they are newer... look at Canon's new glasses...

I know, but I'm stupidly biased to Canon glass.

Canon and Nikon are constantly engaged in a roller coaster. Nikon is on top overall (imo) right now, but I have hope for Canon. I'm not a pro, so I don't really need to switch and have the best gear immediately. I'm happy with the 7D and the lenses I have, and I'm crossing my fingers for what Canon will bring in the foreseeable future. :)

Your Canadian accent? Is it because you say "Eh?" a lot, and pronounce "about" as "a-boot"?

I don't seem to remember getting this kind of misquote before, what have they change?

btw, could somebody tell/explain to me

why they need to recode the program on POTN if they want to include Nikon here?

A mod on another thread said, Pekka is working on recoding POTN so that it would be able to accomodate the Nikon subforum... no set date though
