ohh darn it!! so those photos are indeed a little fuzzy eh? I just clicked them now :o

I would say at least double your FPS base on your FL if you are getting fuzzy photos like those.

at 500mm you should be at least 1/1000 and stopped down at least 1 stop aperture even with OS on.

Try it in good light Kenji.

Yipes, Really? 1/1000 you think?

I wonder why i manage to get most of my shots with the 100-400 at like 1/400-1/500 then? o_O That i think is whats confusing me..

yes they are very very popular here... Toyota is #1 specially their Corolla Altis and Pickups/SUV, then Mitsubishi with their Montero... Ford is one of the least popular brands here.

Why is Ford not as popular?? Ford full-size trucks are fantastic beasties...very durable and quite attractive in a masculine way...

lol wahteva. i enjoyed my big mac. gotta let yourself indulge sometimes.

Lol, well, I am guilty of this too, indulging in bad food (fast food, etc.) once in a while. I just won't touch McDonald's, unless I am craving McNuggets, because I don't like the quality and taste of most of their items.

Oh, by the way, Mc'D's in Canada is 1000% better than in the U.S., so that is a factor. One friend of mine here did not believe me until she traveled up there (vacation) and tried it out. When she came back she admitted that I was right, lol. The difference is not even subtle. The quality of the food served at McDonald's in Canada versus the U.S. is that much better. Go figure.

I dunno, I used to shoot my 270mm on my 500D at around 1/800 - 1/1000 with full VC on for me to get really sharp photos. otherwise I put it on tripod :D

1/500 at 500mm is doable I think but you need to be steady..your shots that I saw were done at 1/200 and 1/400 which I think will really cause blur IMHO

they're really popular in south america too.

I noticed in Brazil that VW was probably the most popular brand (with toyota right behind), but I also noticed a bunch of weird knock-off jeep wranglers...they had nine slots in the front instead of 7, but had very, very similar bodies otherwise...weird...

coz Ford pulled out of the Philippines in the 80's I think...

besides, People here can't afford their Full-sized trucks, they cost at least around $40k-50k around here and needs Gasoline. they are usually considered Luxury SUV/Pickups already.. only the well off families buy them.

people here prefer Diesel (cheaper) and something like medium sized pickup (or asian size). like my Ford Ranger(cost around $20k) which is a rebadge Mazda pickup.

when I ate Mcdonalds in Singapore, they serve about the same food quality as here too.. except I never expected their large sized softdrinks to be that huge.

Large here is about equivalent to Medium in other countries.

yes it is... expensive right? and those Ford Expedition already costs upwards of $60k...

cars like Toyota Corollas costs around $20k too, Camrys are over $40k.

now you see why those US cars are not popular here haha... Jap cars are preferred coz they are a bit cheaper, Kia for one still sells cars for just a little over $10k. and their cars now are a lot lot lot better than they were before.

my ranger cost me around $22,000 after I financed it for 4 years. (we don't usually buy cars in cash). original price was around $19,800. assuming $1 = P50

i saw a picture the other day on how mcnuggets are made. enjoy:
