Sep 22, 2010 15:02 | #3 Enhanced with the blur tool in Photoshop but in the main I shot it on a slowish shutter speed and followed the target with my eye and camera then took the shot this one when the vehicle just appeared in the frame or about 1/5 of the way in (depends on the speed of the target)

The line running across the image may not be a rail, I'm not totally sure (it lays on top of the car); maybe it's the window? but yea, it's quite distracting. Maybe if you had the car in the bottom left corner (or jus left side) to eliminate all the "white"/ empty space.. Flickr

The line is a railing dividing the 2 carraigeways, I agree it would be better without.

sandpiper Cream of the Crop More info | For me, the biggest issue (apart from the railing) is that the original blur and the added blur don't line up, so the lines in the brickwork behind are clashing, you have an almost crosshatched effect on the second floor.

I think I would crop out some of the lower and left side of the image and have more of the car and building. 1Ds Mk II, 1D Mk II, 50D, 40D, XT (for my son), 17-40L, 24-105L, Bigma 50-500 EX DG, Sigma 150 Macro EX DG, Tokina 12-24 AT-X, Nifty Fifty, Tamron 28-300 (for my son), 580ex II, 430ex II

I can pan at 50mm like its my job but that extra distance, that extra shake is killer.

Interesting that the original is more appealing, I can see why. LiberationFrequency - panning at 200mm must be tricky - would love to see some of those shots
