Back from a trip to Yosemite last May and have one card that I'm having problems with. Shot with a 40d, the pictures don't show on the camera. I get err 02--problem with external media. Pictures don't show up in bridge. I have not been able to toss the card out yet...still hoping.

Since then, I have gotten a 7d. Pics show up fine on that camera. I tried downloading from camera instead of card reader into LR3 and I just get empty spaces with file numbers.

Do you think I would have a shot with sandisk rescue? or just toss the card and loose over 100 pics of vacation....

Thanks, Janie

SanDisk's recovery program is pretty good. Also try some of the other utilities mentioned here.

Lexar's Image Rescue worked for me, wasn't even a Lexar card. You can even find images that you deleted.
