Not sure I would call it proper, do you mean your first time using flash? External flash? More then one flash?

All I can say is we can not clearly comment on your flash technique due to the nature of your post processing. It is borderline abstract and you started the thread off by saying "Proper".

We need to see your work straight from the camera to judge your flash technique. I personally do not like your PP. IMHO You have mutilated that poor girls skin, there are no natural colors at all and nothing is sharp.
