which cokin filter set would be right for my canon 16-35 mm L II USM lens?

I seem unable to find out which one I should use, I have asked at the shop for the sets H210 and H250 which are respectively a landscape and ND Grad set but the blokes at the shop (quite unhelpful) say these are too small for my lens and will cause strong vignetting.

what camera are you using? if you think about it, the 16-35II's filter threads are 82mm, while the cokin p filters are 84mm. even hand holding could be tough. if you want cokin, you're going to want at least the cokin z-pro (external link) size holder. i'm sure you'll also get the suggestions for lee (external link), but good luck finding those. both sets use larger 100mm filters (4" x 4", 4" x 5", 4" x 6"). if you do a search, i'm sure you'll find lots of info on which filters to buy for those holders.

Get Lee! The Cokin P system is to small for that lens, even if you get a wide angle holder for only one filter you can only shoot at about 21 mm with a FF. With Lee you can easily stack two filters and shoot at 16mm.

Also, Cokin filters tint the image a lot! I was out with a friend yesterday who had Cokin and I was amazed, his sky was pink, not blue/grey, like mine turned out:

Example of Lee filter work: Bluish grey sky, not Cokin-pink... (external link)
