OK folks! Here are some products and accessories for the camera.
If I had my choice, I'd go for the 35mm and 55mm. What would you guys choose?

The sensor they picked doesn't have bad dynamic range but it's not the best either. No doubt they got a deal on this sensor. The 9um 22mp sensor has 84db dynamic range and the 6um 40mp has 70.2db (note the 50mp is 72db). That's fairly significant though all other high density sensors fair about the same. The resolution is there and I believe this camera will shine in low contrast scenes but I'm not sure it will hold a high contrast scene. I just had a page up with 5 images from Pentax and the shadows seemed a tad dark. Actually the images seemed dark. I'm not on an Eizo but this monitor is purported to have a wide color gamut.

I am pleasantly surprised to find a significant amount of useable data in the shadows. In fact a curves adjust which blows the mids and highs out reveals quite nice color rendition and detail. Wow. I can't get that kind of lift out of my 5DII files for sure. Definitely noise in those shadows but that changes the game entirely. The Pentax engineer is claiming that kodak underates their DR on their sensors. WWW.DOWNHILLNEWS.COM

I've been mucking with the files and some things I've noticed. At view of 50% the image is full resolution splendor. More detail than I have seen in quite some time. #4 looks like the best of MF and LF. What I love about the resolution is tone based sharpening rather than having to use local contrast to form the perception of a sharper image.

The image circle of the TS-E 17 is 67.2mm. The diagonal of the Pentax 645D is 55mm. Plenty of room there.
