just posted this in another thread - I just got the 7D replacing my 60D and I have to say that the 60D just fits better in the hand. I have average size hands and (for me) where my palm rests on the 7D just doesn't feel right. The 60D on the other hand just fits perfectly

Thanks, I picked up a rebel but I forgot how clumsy it is to use with the menus so I sold it for the 60D and I really love this camera especially since it shares the batteries with my 5D2. 5.3 frames is more then fast enough for me and I really like the controls, felt right at home with it where the rebel felt more p/s. It's jut funny how so much gear gets bashed before its even really used, I remember the 50D taking a beating with people saying the 40D was better so I take most everything I read with a grain of salt

So far mostly using my old 50 1.4, the 24-70 is heavy no matter if its just sitting in the bag.

Any of you guys use a canon pixma pro9000 II or similar printer? I got mine today and im having some horrible problems getting a photo to look normal. On gloss paper the color get smushed together and there is almost no detail in the picture.

Thats pretty much why I got mine. My 7D came in today and I have to say im not sure yet as to which feels better in the hand. Were getting covered in a foot of snow right now otherwise id be out there shooting. I'll give you guys a review after about a month or so of the 7D. Between the t2i,60D, and 7D ...60D has the coolest popup flash release sound (not that anyone uses it )

Love the 60D. The only thing I didn't like about the 60D is where Canon put the delete button. Pretty minor complaint to have in the overall picture. The articulating screen is an awesome extra to have on top of all the other features. Went to the 7D simply because I felt I could shell out another 180 bucks to upgrade through CLP. Check out my unboxing pictures by clicking on my "7D" signature. Plus it will help when taking pictures at our Schutzhund club (dog sport).

Whats the deal with this canon loyalty program i keep hearing about?

Ive had my canon 60D for about 2 months. Recently the battery that came with my 60D was reporting less than 100% when it is fully charged. First started 3 days ago at 97% then last night 96% and this morning it was showing 95% fully charged.

Any ideas? Thank you.

Oh this all started happening when I started using 3rd party LP-E6 battery from opteka. I dont know if this has anything to do with it. And I use both of my batteries in my Meika grip.

Hi all! This is my first post here. I got the 60D a month ago and I'm enjoying photography again after a 10 year break. The camera feels great and gives me nice photos with an inexpensive Canon 50mm F1.8 lens.
I have already started to shoot pics for a an exhibition in the spring
