Yep, book marked and been checking almost every day. I love that site, I believe I am slightly addicted. Great for compairing the price on almost anything from US and Canadian retailers.

Works out to $899 right now with the rebate. Figured it would happen, but oh well. Still a decent price I guess, considering I was going to buy at $888. Just figured I would wait and see what happened yesterday when the rebate went live. I knew $788 would have been too good to be true. I followed the advice of another board member and hit the trigger on it at Calumet yesterday. They now list "Call for availability" so they could have sold out. +1 smart move! I'm actively lazy!!

And then realized it's "President's Day" in the US, so I'd imagine a lot of places incl. Postal offices will be closed. So it may be a day or so before anything is finalized and shipped. It's also considered "Family Day" in Ontario today, so everything is shut down. People got all upset because we didn't have any Stat. Holidays in February, so they invented one. The best price for a 8gb right now is $59 through Adorama, on this site http://www.photoprice.ca …C-Class-10-8GB-price.html I think Macroshooter was talking about the 16GB for 50.00 which is a great price.

The last SanDisk 8GB Extreme class-10 card I purchased was 39.99 at Best Buy just before the holidays. I picked up two at that price ![]() Jon... The 20mb/sec. or 30mb/sec. ones... That's what's confusing me with those Sandisk cards, They have "Extreme" or "Ultra" on too many cards, some of their class 10 cards say 20mb/sec. and some say 30mb/sec. I have two so far, both are 8gb Extreme 30mb/sec. cards, got one with the camera for $79 and the other on sale for $49. I was at Best Buy one week and they were all gone with a sale price above the normal spot(8gb 30mb/sec) of $19.95... that had to be a mistake, I would have bought all of them but someone beat me to it Call me Erich.

Correction on price: Just looked at the receipt and I paid 49.99 each, not the 39.00 I posted earlier....oops. That was back in October 2010 at the local Best Buy. Jon...

Recently I found a sale at Walmart on the PNY 8GB Professional class 10. I was a bit hesitant to buy them, but at 29.00, I gave them a try. So far I have had no problems with the cards, and they work just as well as the San Disk, but only time will tell.
