I was using my cheap 50mm lens I think Anyway, these are my first attempt as a novice...I had poor lighting/ no flash...and I just noticed that my exposure was 1/160 @ 1.8 with an iso of 6400 Here's a better image....just so I don't give the 60D a bad name with my drop shots 60D, x100S

Try it with a tripod and a remote shutter release. Then try and practice hand hold.
