What was your jpeg compression/quality setting?

I'm cured - it was in fact a corrupt color management profile. I was finally able to delete mine and rebooted and now the photo in question looks the same in all applications

a relief.

The fellow in the Lightroom forum said it is so so very common for windows users to have corrupt color management profiles...

This is the shot that always looked like his fur was smudged without detail when viewed in my Firefox. The lens is clean - the circles are OOF snowflakes :)

OK! I did it! My 60D is on the way.....

$874.99 from the The Imaging World
10% off coupon from ebay
3% back from Mr. Rebates
$25.20 in ebay bucks
Bought the 9000 mkii printer for $349 + 45 shipping to get the $400 rebate

Plus I paid with my Discover card so I get an extra 1% back. I am so cheap it hurts. Now all I need is a lens :)

So the best I can figure it:

$874.99
349.99
45 shipping
$1269.98
-$88 coupon
-$30 cash back from Mr Rebate (caps at $30)
-12.70 discover
-$25.20 ebay bucks
-$200 from sale of printer (estimated)
-$400 AMEX card from rebate

$514 for body.

Well I just purchased a 70-200mm 2.8L for my newly acquired 60D. What a beast of a lens. The autofocus is super fast and quiet compared to my other 2 lens (kit 18-135mm IS 3.5-5.6 and Niffty Fifty 1.8). Cant wait to do some more shooting. also picked up a manfrotto tripod and ball head with the $200 lens rebate so I got the tripod kit for free.

Next the 580EX 2 flash and the 24-105L F4 glass. Gotta save some more money first though, I'm TAPPED OUT OF CASH!!!!!!

Thanks,
The 60D was purchaased right after Christmas, the 50 1.8 end of Jan. The BIG one was the 70-200 2.8 and tripod combo this past friday!!!!!!

Thinking of picking up a Lowe pro 650 AW reporter from amazon for 110.00 and that'll be it for a long time!!!

Nicer weather, great day to take some pics with the 60D.

I'm sad, by the time the weather turned nice here today, I was too far into cleaning my apartment to drop everything and take the camera out. :(

I did play with the 18-135mm kit lens a bit today, I'll be loaning it to a friend soon and wanted to see what could be expected of it. Pretty decent lens, even at 135mm.
